Cars, food and live entertainment at classic car show in Halton Hills

A popular local event is returning to Halton Hills for the 34th year in less than two weeks.

Classics Against Cancer car show is returning to Cedarvale Park in Georgetown on Sunday, April 16, Father’s Day.

As always, the show is held in a cruise-in style with specific zones like the Mustang Corral, Corvette Corner, Morpar Muscle, and Prestige Areas.

Other events at the show include:

  • Live music and entertainment by Bill Mountford, and The Tone Dogs
  • Gourmet food
  • A wide variety of vendors
  • Tim Hortons coffee
  • RC NASCAR stock car racing experience

Over the years, the event has raised nearly $1,000,000 to help fight cancer. Last year, donations were made to Trillium Health Partner Foundation, Georgetown Hospital Foundation and Georgetown Hospital Volunteer Association.

Admission is $5, and kids ages 6 to 16 are $3. Gates open to vehicles at 7:30 a.m. and the show starts at 8 a.m. Opening ceremonies are at 10 a.m.
