Caribbean restaurant closes down in Mississauga

Jerk chicken fans mourn the loss of authentic Jamaican food as a restaurant in Mississauga closes their doors forever.

Mckoy’s Caribbean Fusion was located at 950 Southdown Rd., unit B5 in the Clarkson Crossing Plaza.

An eviction notice can be seen posted on the restaurant’s front door and window.

The restaurant offered tastes and flavours that were mimicking that of Caribbean cuisine.

One of their most popular dishes was the jerk chicken poutine. Other favourites included Jamaican beef patties and oxtail.
