Car veers off road following two vehicle collision in Mississauga

A two-vehicle collision occurred at a major intersection in Mississauga today(Oct. 4).

A witness told Insauga.com via email that the collision involving a truck and a car took place at Derry Rd. and Envoy Dr.

This caused the car to veer off the roadway and strike wires connected to a nearby light pole.

The accident occurred at 3:30 p.m., and as of now, the extent of the injuries remains unknown.

“There were no physical injuries.”

“There was some damage sustained to a cable supporting a light pole. Hydro one was made aware of the incident, “Cst. Mandeep Khatra, PRP’s Media Relations Officer said in an email to Insauga.com.
