Car flips onto roof on busy road in Brampton

A car flipped onto its roof on a busy road in Brampton on Tuesday afternoon, causing major traffic delays for rush hour motorists.

The extent of any injuries is not yet known as Peel Regional Police have few details about the single-vehicle crash, which happened in the northbound lanes of McLaughlin Road South, at Oaklea Boulevard/Gurdwara Gate, shortly after 4 p.m.

Reports from the scene say that northbound traffic was backed up significantly as the roadway was blocked for cleanup and police investigation.
