Car crashes into Milton bank

No injuries were reported after a car crashed into the side of a Milton bank yesterday (Nov. 2).

According to Halton Regional Police, the driver lost control of the vehicle and went into the building located near Thompson Rd. and Derry Rd.

The unnamed driver has since been charged with careless driving.

The incident occurred late in the afternoon and the area was closed down for a short time while police investigated.

Firefighters and other emergency crews also arrived at the scene to assess the damage and assist the driver and bank staff.

Police are continuing their investigation to find out what caused the accident.
