Car crashes into home in Mississauga; driver suffers minor injuries

Police are trying to determine what led to a single-car mishap late Thursday night in which a vehicle crashed into a house in Mississauga’s east end.

According to reports, the woman who was driving the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries after losing control of the vehicle and slamming into the Fieldgate Drive home, near Dixie and Burnhamthorpe roads, at about 10:30 p.m.

Reports also indicate that significant damage was caused to the home, but nobody inside the house was hurt.

Peel Regional Police are investigating.
