Cannabis store adding Burlington store after success in Hamilton

A Hamilton cannabis dispensary owned by a Burlington businessman is expanding to the neighbouring city.
Sparkle Cannabis Company, owned by Burlington mortgage broker Jivan Sanghera, will be opening a store in the city in a matter of weeks. Sparkle recently added the address of a new Burlington location — 730 Guelph Line — to the bio of its Instagram account.
The original Sparkle Cannabis Co. opened in May 2021 at 778 Concession St. on Hamilton Mountain, near East 32nd Street. In its first nine months in operation, it has earned a solid reputation with cannabis users, with a 4.7 rating from 51 Google reviews.
“Our mission is to eliminate the stigma of cannabis while educating new and experienced users,” a bio on Sparkle’s website reads. “Our pricing model is designed to give our customers excellent value for the products they enjoy.
“Our curated menu is built by a team of expert hosts. We are ready to serve you whether you’re getting your favorite strain, a beginner looking to get into recreational cannabis, or just wanting to try CBD (cannabidiol).”
