Candidates will face off at public meetings ahead of Milton byelection

The candidates vying for the open provincial legislature seat in Milton will face off at a pair of upcoming meetings.
The first, Sponsored by the Campbellville Community Association and the Federation of Agriculture on Tuesday, April 23, at 7 p.m. at Country Heritage Park
The second is Thursday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Milton Sports Centre Banquet Room, sponsored by the Milton chapter of the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW).
The candidates for the seat, which become open when PC Parm Gill resigned to prepare for a run at a federal seat, are:
- Zeeshan Hamid, Conservative
- Galen Naidoo Harris, Liberal
- Kyle Hutton, Green Party
- John Spina, New Blue
- Edie Strachan, NDP
- Arabella Vida, Independent
There is no word if candidates have confirmed their attendance at either event. The byelection will be held on Thursday, May 2.
