Cancelled school bus routes in Durham limited to Clarington and Oshawa today

School bus route cancellations number just 15 today as operators continue to gain control of a year-long driver shortage problem.

The cancelled routes are limited today (May 19) to just Oshawa and Courtice with most of the routes (11) serving local high schools.

Schools looking at some route cancellations are St. Stephen, Clarington Central and Courtice high schools and Clarington Central Intermediate, Courtice Intermediate, MJ Hobbs Senior and Hampton Junior elementary schools in Clarington; and Maxwell Heights and Eastdale high schools and Elsie MacGill elementary school in Oshawa.
