Cancelled bus routes mostly confined to high schools: three in Clarington, two in Pickering

Cancelled school bus routes in Durham Region numbered 26 today (April 25), with most confined to high schools.

There were ten routes cancelled in Clarington, with six routes involving secondary schools St. Stephen, Clarington Central and Bowmanville. Other schools looking at cancelled routes today include Duke of Cambridge, St. Joseph, Hampton Jr, MJ Hobbs Sr, Clarington Intermediate and John James.

There were 16 routes cancelled in the rest of Durham, including routes to Port Perry High School, and Pickering, Pine Ridge, Dunbarton and McLaughlin high schools. Other schools with cancellations today are RH Cornish and Good Shepherd in Scugog, Eagle Ridge in Ajax; and Glengrove in Pickering.
