Canadian businessman Frank Stronach has been charged in connection with a sexual assault investigation by Peel Regional Police.

Police allege the 91-year-old Aurora native, who founded Magna International Inc., an Ontario based automotive parts manufacturer, was connected to sexual assaults that spanned from the 1980’s up to as recent as 2023.

Stronach was arrested Friday (June 7) and charged with rape, indecent assault on a female, two counts of sexual assault and forcible confinement.

Police are asking that members of the public step forward if they have any relevant information regarding this case.
