Canada’s Wonderland has revealed its opening date for the 2026 season, as well its intention to hire thousands of workers.
The Vaughan amusement park will be opening for the season on May 3 and has plans to hire 4,000 seasonal associates, a news release said.
Wonderland will begin filling the roles during a week-long hiring event by its parent company Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
“We may be in the cold depths of winter, but we’re excited about the fun in store this season and have hiring efforts already underway,” said human resources director Taneshia Khan.
Canada’s Wonderland said it’s hiring across all departments for positions including food and beverage associates, ride operators, lifeguards, security associates, merchandise and games workers, park services attendants, and more.
Applicants must be at least 15 years old. The age requirement may vary depending on the position.
Pay starts at $16.60 for students under 18 years old, and $17.60 for those who are 18 and older.
Workers also get perks, including discounts on food and merchandise, exclusive park events, and free admission to any Six Flags park.
Those who are interested in applying can visit this website. Positions are updated weekly, the release said.
