One of the must-see events on Burlington’s busy summer social calendar is returning to Spencer Smith Park next weekend.

Canada’s Largest Ribfest makes its full return to downtown Burlington Sept. 2 to 5 and will be jam-packed with great food and drink and plenty of entertainment.

Sixteen teams are scheduled to be at this year’s event, including Bibbs, Billy, Bones, Bone Daddy’s, Brickyard, Camp 31, Fat Boys, Gator, Hawgs Gone Wild, Memphis Blazin’, Pistol Pete’s Smokehouse, Ribs Royale, Silver Bullet, Smokehouse Bandits, Sticky Fingers, The Hogfather’s and Uncle Sam’s.

There will be entertainment on two stages for the entire long weekend, including bands like Practically Hip, Freedom Train, Trickbag, The McFlys, Canada Roxx, Blush, and James Anthony.

Pre-pandemic, the Burlington Ribfest would draw more than 180,000 people over four days and serve more than 150,000 pounds of ribs.
