The Town of Milton is offering local kids a chance to learn more about cycling.

You can sign up your kids to take part in cycling camps being held at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre this summer.

The cycling camps are led by qualified coaches and includes drills, skills and technique training on both indoor and outdoor tracks.

There are two camps available.

Cycling Camp FUNdamentals is available for kids aged 9 to 14. Riders will spend two sessions a day working on core cycling skills and playing games to build on bike confidence and safety awareness. Riders need their own bike and helmet and should already know how to ride a bike.

Cycling Camp is led by qualified cycling coaches and combines cycling drills and techniques to help strengthen campers’ cycling skill. This camp is conducted both outdoors and in the indoor velodrome cycling track. Campers must bring a bike helmet and their own bike for outdoor sessions.

To sign up for either camp, visit the Town of Milton recreation booking webpage.
