The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign, which took place in September, raised over $9,000 which will help support student nutrition programs in Georgetown and Acton schools.
During the campaign, proceeds from all Smile Cookie sales at Tim Hortons locations in Georgetown and Acton were donated to local charities and organizations.
One of these organizations included Halton Food for Thought (HFFT), an incorporated, registered charity that helps to provide Halton students access to healthy food at school.
Yesterday, (Nov. 9) Halton Food for Thought announced on Twitter that the campaign raised a total of $9,110.00.
