A winter weather warning for Caledon has led to a parking ban in town starting on Tuesday morning.

The town says parking on all streets in Caledon will be banned as of 12:01 a.m. on Dec. 7 until further notice.

All parking passes are “no longer valid,” the town said in a statement, and Parking Enforcement Officers will be out ticketing and towing vehicles during the temporary ban.

The town is also issuing a significant weather warning due to snow squalls expected on Monday night.

Residents and visitors should use extreme caution when using roads and sidewalks and avoid unnecessary travel at this time.

Just like the parking ban, the weather declaration “will stay in effect until it is safe to be lifted,” the town said.
