Caledon home invasion suspects on the run from police

Police are asking the public for help identifying suspects in a home invasion in Caledon over the weekend.

The Caledon OPP say officers were called about a home invasion in progress on Dougall Ave, near Kennedy Rd. in Caledon just before 11:00 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 8).

Police say officers arrived within minutes of receiving the call but the suspects had already fled the scene.

The suspects allegedly entered the home by force and demanded valuables from occupants. Police say only minor injuries were suffered in the invasion, and investigators did not disclose if any property was stolen.

Two suspects and two suspect vehicles have been identified by police using video surveillance, and investigators are asking the public to help identify the suspects.

Police are searching for a white sedan and a red SUV with unknown licence plates.

The suspects are two Black males who were wearing orange and yellow high-visibility shirts and white face masks when they were captured on camera.
