Cabaret-style event be hosted at Living Arts Centre in Mississauga

Those who are fans of jazz music may be interested to know that a cabaret-style event is set to be hosted soon in Mississauga.

The event, called A Night of Jazz, will take place at the Living Arts Centre (LAC) on Feb. 10 and will feature co-headliners and Mississauga musicians, Shannon Butcher and Cat Bernardi.

Butcher, who was born in Mississauga, is an acclaimed Canadian singer, songwriter, arranger and record producer who is known for charming audiences with her way of celebrating the playful nature of jazz.

Bernardi, who is also a Mississauga native, is a jazz vocalist, composer, arranger and music educator whose voice has led her to stages all around Ontario, Quebec and even into Europe.

Along with jazz music and cabaret-style performances, the event will also feature pre-show tableside cocktails and snacks.

Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now and start at $20.
