Butter tart festival coming to Mississauga in November

Canada’s sweet treat is celebrated in an upcoming festival in November.
The Lakeview Mississauga East, Butter Tart, Sweet Treat and Holiday event is coming to the Small Arms Inspection Building, 1352 Lakeshore Rd. E. on Sunday, Nov. 6.
The festival, from Gotta Luv Butter Tarts, joins the regular Lakeview Farmers’ Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be butter tarts, other tasty treats and artisans.
The Lakeview Farmers’ Market features local, sustainable, organic, and artisanal products every Sunday until Nov. 27.
In addition to vendors, there is live music and a cafe inside the historic building.
