Durham Police had a busy Saturday night in Oshawa, with police responding to a disturbance on Capilano Court, an overdose call on Athol Street, and a fight at an apartment on Gibb Street.

The fight on Gibb Street was over a stolen Bluetooth speaker at a house party and involved “lots of commotion and shouting” before police were able to get the situation under control.

Police and paramedics both responded to the possible overdose call. No word yet as to the aftermath of the incident.

The Capilano Court was about an intoxicated man – unknown to the victims – who was banging on the complainant’s door and causing a disturbance. Police say the suspect smashed some property and fled on foot.
