Busy Brampton intersection closed after collision involving police cruiser

A busy Brampton intersection is closed after a police cruiser collided with another vehicle this evening (March 9).

No injuries are reported.

According to accounts, the collision involving the Peel Police car happened at Ebenezer Rd. and Cherrycrest Dr. just after 6:30 p.m.

The intersection is now closed as crews deal with the aftermath of the crash and drivers are being warned to avoid the area.
