A shortage of school bus drivers amid the COVID-19 pandemic continues to temporarily disrupt services and routes for Halton District School Board (HDSB) students.

“Every effort will be made to communicate cancellations as quickly as possible, but in many cases, we will have minimal notice as drivers continue to follow public health guidelines and minimize risk to students,” said David Colley, General Manager of Halton Student Transportation Services (HSTS).

To stay informed about bus route cancellations, families can visit the HSTS alerts page, register for delay and cancellation email notifications via the HSTS Parent Portal or download the Delays App.

“We understand the impact that this has on families and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding,” said the HDSB.
