Burlington’s first baby of 2023 arrives at 8:05 a.m. Sunday

The second son of Rajagopalan Kannan and Hema Ramu came a little earlier than usual.
Ramu was not due until January 19, but life had other plans and the baby – weighing in at seven pounds and still unnamed – arrived at 8:05 a.m. Sunday at Joseph Brant Hospital, the first baby born in Burlington in 2023.
