Burlington residents have one more option to cool off in this sizzling summer heat.

The new DesJardines Park Splash Pad, located at 1811 Imperial Way, is now open.

Local kids can bike to the new splash pad that is in a recessed area and is surrounded by benches and asphalt pathways.

Curbing around the playground perimeter and transition curbs make the fun water park accessible all around.

Also on site at the new splash pad are picnic tables in the shade of new growing trees around the playground perimeter, a drinking fountain with a bottle filler and a pet bowl.

Other fun neighbourhood splash parks to help beat the heat in Burlington, include Bolus Garden Parkette, Brant Hills Park, Dofasco Waterjet Plaza and Hidden Valley Park.

Kids can also get cool off at Ireland Park, Millcroft Park, Norton Community Park and Orchard Community Park.

You can also stop in at the Mountainside Pool and Splash Park, Nelson Pool and Splash Park and LaSalle Splash Park.
