Burlington’s Brant Street Pier is being lit to acknowledge several important recognitions this week.

On Thursday, Sept. 30, the pier will be lit orange, in celebration of Orange Shirt Day – Every Child Matters.

On Friday, Oct. 1, the pier will be lit gold for National Seniors’ Day and on Saturday, Oct. 2, it will be lit yellow and white for Wrongful Conviction Day.

The Brant Street Pier extends 137 metres over Lake Ontario and provides beautiful views of the lake as well as the city’s shoreline.

It is a signature attraction in Spencer Smith Park at the Waterfront at Downtown Burlington and is lit up with different colours throughout the year to celebrate events and acknowledge important recognitions.
