Burlington Transit is making it easier to get to and from the Grey Cup in Hamilton on Sunday, which features the Tiger Cats vs. the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

To get to the game, Route 1 operates along Fairview St. and Plains Rd. every 15 minutes on Sunday and goes into Hamilton along York Blvd.

Connections can be made to HSR’s Route 1 or 2. Transferring to HSR is free. If paying by cash, ask for a paper transfer. Transfers are automatic when using a PRESTO card.

After the game, Route 1 operates every 30 minutes until 9:30 p.m. from the Burlington Transit stop at King St. and James St. The route has been extended until midnight on Sunday.

Starting at 10 p.m., a shuttle will operate from King St. and James St. The shuttle will leave Hamilton when it is full and the last shuttle to Burlington leaves at midnight.

Fare payment is required and can be paid by cash or using a PRESTO card. HSR transfers accepted.
