Those who love cooling off at splash pads during the summer will be happy to know that a new one has recently opened at DesJardines Park in Burlington.

In case you missed it, the new DesJardines Park Splash Pad is located at 1811 Imperial Way and is now open for public use.

This splash pad, along with the others in the neighbourhood, is a great way to keep cool during summer heatwaves.

Other local splash parks include Brant Hills Park, Dofasco Waterjet Plaza Bolus Garden Parkette, Ireland Park, Millcroft Park, Hidden Valley Park, Orchard Community Park and Norton Community Park.

Residents may also visit Mountainside Pool and Splash Park, Nelson Pool and Splash Park and LaSalle Splash Park for additional options to keep cool.

Residents are reminded to practice social distancing and follow all COVID-19 safety protocols at all splash pad locations.
