The City of Burlington wants to make a trade with local residents.

They want your input and they’re willing to provide a free meal a the Food for Feedback event.

The second iteration of the event is being held Saturday, Sept. 17, at Brant Hills Park, 2300 Duncaster Dr., from noon to 3 p.m. If the weather turns sour the event will move indoors to the Brant Hills Community Centre.

Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts on City projects with staff. Attendees will receive a free lunch from participating food trucks in exchange for feedback. Vegetarian and halal options available.

This is a free, drop-in event and residents of all ages are welcome to attend. Younger children can enjoy the Imagination Playground on-site, so family members have more flexibility to share their feedback on City projects important to them.

Your input helps the City continue to improve City services and initiatives. City booths at the event will include initiatives such as:

  • 2022 Municipal Election
  • Burlington Transit – Reasons to Ride
  • Climate Action Plan
  • Customer Experience
  • Integrated Mobility Plan
  • Neighbourhood development
