A builder wants to put more retail space in a proposed development on Appleby Line, south of Mainway.

Wellings Planning Consultants Inc. has made an application to amend the zoning bylaw for the lands located at 5030-5045 Tico Creek Common, located beside the Appleby Ice Centre.

The application asks for an increase in the maximum building floor area and expand retail store permissions for the two proposed one-storey buildings on the west side of the site directly abutting and fronting onto Appleby Line.

Now they’re looking for public input. The virtual public meeting will Tuesday, July 5, at 9:30 a.m. For more information on the development, visit the City’s development project webpage.

The site contains supporting studies that have been submitted by the applicant and will be updated throughout the process.

For more information about this matter, including information about appeal rights, contact Mariana Da Silva, Planner at 905-335-7600, ext. 7536, or [email protected].
