Burlington resident killed near Sudbury

A man identified as a 64-year-old Burlington resident has died as a result of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) collision in a community west of Sudbury.
The Manitoulin Ontario Provincial Police report the incident took place Sunday (May 12) at around 10 p.m. in Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, a community about 100 km west of Sudbury.
Police say the ATV was the only vehicle involved in the crash which happened on Hwy. 55.
Aside from the OPP, Manitoulin-Sudbury Paramedic Services, and the Sables-Spanish Rivers Fire Department responded to the incident.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The name has not been released.
No other injuries were reported.
