After being closed for 16 months, the Burlington Public Library’s Central location has reopened its second and third floors.

“We’re thrilled to welcome back our valued customers for browsing, time-limited computer use, and sit & stay visits for leisure, work, and study,” said Burlington Public Library.

Additionally, more visitors are allowed inside the branches now that the Province has entered Step 3 of its reopening plan.

“We ask that you respectfully share library spaces with others. You are welcome to come in for a short stay, longer if no one is waiting to come in, but please be willing to leave if staff ask you to. We’re grateful for your cooperation,” added Burlington Public Library.

Residents are reminded that Central’s fax service is temporarily unavailable at this time and that Makerspace at Central remains closed for renovations. Additionally, there will be no in-branch programs and room rentals available.

The library is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m.
