Burlington powerlifter sets new national marks at provincial meet

A Burlington powerlifter set new national records at a recent provincial meet in Kingston.
Andrew Sia, 31, competed in the Canadian Powerlifting League Ontario Provincials recently, where he broke the all-time national record in the 82.5-kg weight class for total and bench press.
Sia’s records are 207.5 kg in the bench press and 792.5 kg total combined (bench, squat and deadlift).
Sia trains at CrossFit Connection in Burlington.
