Burlington opens registration to hold outdoor fitness classes in parks

While everyone should exercise at their own pace, the race is on to book outdoor fitness classes in the City of Burlington.
The city announced Friday that it has opened rentals to outdoor fitness classes in select city parks, at a 20-per-cent reduction. Outdoor fitness classes will be permitted starting Wednesday (June 30) when Ontario enters Step 2 of its reopening plan.
Time slots are available in one-hour bookings, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays. Class sizes ocan beup to 12 for small or neighbourhood park locations, and up to 25 for other parks. Bookings are only open to Burlington residents or Burlington-based organizations/businesses only.

The cost of a rental is $9.87/hour plus HST for non-profit groups, and $14.51/hour for commercial groups.
