Burlington Hydro investigating cause of power outage affecting 500 customers

More than 500 homes and businesses in central Burlington are currently without power.

Burlington Hydro said crews are investigation the cause of the outage that appears to be centred around the intersection of Plains Rd./Fairview St. and the QEW, near Mapleview Centre.

The outage was first reported a few minutes before 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, and Burlington Hydro said they hope to have things up and running as soon as possible.
