Burlington Economic Development has teamed up with a Montreal-based financial services company to help businesses better access government and private funding.

An AI-powered funding tool, Fundica helps businesses connect with available grants, tax credits, loans and equity, while increasing visibility for public and private funders.

“The Fundica software is a fantastic resource for our team to have in our toolkit when supporting businesses,” said Anita Cassidy, Burlington Economic Development. “Due to the pandemic, our requests for assistance relating to grants and programs has increased significantly.

“Fundica offers an innovative solution to a longstanding problem we’ve seen from businesses – how do they know they’re accessing every program available.”

Through Burlington Economic Development, local businesses can receive a comprehensive list of programs they are eligible for and resources to begin taking advantage of them.

The software, which is always up to date, allows funders to add and modify their programs/products; patent pending semi-automated funding program crawling, tracking, and updating system; and through a funding research team.

When requesting a summary from Fundica’s technology, all programs are accounted for.
