Burlington dad wins half-a-million in Lotto Max draw, plans include new car, vacation

A family vacation and new car are in the plans for Burlington’s latest lottery winner.
Kashmir Gill, 55, said he can realize his dreams after winning $500,000 in the June 18 Lotto Max draw, half of the Maxmillions prize he shared with another ticket.
“Lotto Max is my favourite game and I won with my own numbers,” said the father of one, who scanned the winning ticket over and over on his phone to make sure it was real.
“My heart was pounding.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Dundas Street in Burlington.
