Burlington councillors will okay zoning changes for eight-storey apartment

The City of Burlington is about to give its blessing to a new eight-storey apartment building on Upper Middle Rd.

The building at 4063 Upper Middle Rd., will be located just east of Walker’s Line and sits on the western bank of Shoreacres Creek.

The development will bring 32 residential units to the community. The change in zoning necessary to allow construction will also “protect the natural heritage features associated with the adjacent watercourse,” according to the staff report.

The item will be discussed at tomorrow’s Community Planning, Regulation and Mobility committee meeting before heading to full council later this month.
