The Burlington Chamber of Commerce’s annual Mayor’s Luncheon is going to be held in-person once again this year.

The event aims to highlight the business community in the city as well as receive inspiration from a featured speaker.

This year’s keynote speaker is Rocco Rossi, president and CEO of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Rossi is a successful entrepreneur and business executive, a champion fundraiser, and a dedicated public servant.

He will share his personal story of resiliency and rising up and how this has led him on many different journeys. He will draw a connection to relate to our business community and what the future holds for 2022.

Prior to joining the OCC, Rossi most recently served as president and CEO of Prostate Cancer Canada, where he helped to advance the research, advocacy, education and awareness of the most common cancer in men.

Rossi also served as CEO of Heart and Stroke Foundation, one of Canada’s largest non-profit organizations, overseeing consecutive years of record fundraising combining for more than $600 million in total.

He currently serves as a member of the board and audit committee of TerraVest Industries.

The event is being held Friday, Dec. 17, at 11:30 a.m. at The Pearle Hotel and Spa, 3 Elizabeth St. at 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Proof of vaccination is required. Face masks are required when not sitting at a table.

Tickets cost $125 per person for members and $175 for non-members.
