Burlington drivers who regularly use South Service Rd. should expect some significant delays for the next four months.

The South Service Road Renewal project started this week and is expected to last until the end of November. Construction will occur between Harvester Rd. and Century Dr.

Work includes:

  • Full-depth asphalt replacement
  • Concrete sidewalk installation
  • Local storm infrastructure repairs
  • Streetlight upgrades

During normal construction hours, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., vehicle access to and from local businesses may be difficult. Business driveway entrances and exits may be temporarily restricted when work is being carried out in the immediate area. Access to at least one entrance/exit will be maintained at all times throughout the duration of the project.

For day-to-day construction inquiries, contact David Hill, construction inspector at 289-983-5003. You can also visit the city website for information.
