Burlington burglar nabbed after waking homeowners
A quick call to cops by startled homeowners has led to an arrest after an uninvited guest entered a Burlington home.
According to Halton Regional Police, the incident happened in the early hours of April 28 when a man entered a home on Prospect St. through an unlocked door.
After hearing noise coming from within the house the residents called police who quickly arrived on the scene.
Police say there was no physical interaction between the intruder and those in the house.
A man was subsequently arrested at the scene and charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling house.
His name has not been released by police.
