Burlington Brewery brings Latin cuisine and local beers to city

A new family-owned brewery that focuses on small batches of craft beer, along with a Latin-inspired menu, is now open in Burlington.
Burlington Brewery has been launched by the team behind Maiz Latin Food in Toronto — Fernando Sequeda, Iris Gutierrez, Carlos Cime, and Jeriuska Sandoval.
Just open this week, Burlington Brewery has a core line-up of four beers: Raza Vienna Lager (5% abv); Maiz Pilsner (5.3% abv); Hoppy Seagull IPA (6.5% abv); and Grindstone Double IPA (8.3% abv). They are all available on tap and in cans to go.
The location in the space that was previously home to 5 West Brewpub & Kitchen.
The food menu features a selection of Latin items including nachos, tacos, tequeños, and churros, along with other brewpub favourites like mac & cheese, burgers, sandwiches, and steak & fries.
Burlington Brewery is located in the plaza on the southwest corner of Dundas St. and Walker’s Line, and is open Monday to Thursday from noon to 9 p.m., Friday from noon to midnight, Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
