A Burlington Beer Store is expected to re-open today after an employee earlier tested positive for COVID-19.

A Burlington Beer Store is expected to re-open today after an employee earlier tested positive for COVID-19.

The store, located at 396 Elizabeth St., was shut down after the test results came in late last week.

A spokesperson for the Beer Store said all potentially affected employees will self-isolate for the prescribed amount of time as a precautionary measure.

The store has also gone through a thorough cleaning, added the spokesperson.

Halton Public Health has been notified and is investigating.
