Bullet fired into parked vehicle in Brampton on Canada Day

Police are asking for the public’s help to solve a Canada Day shooting.

The victims in their driveway on Blackthorn Lane, near Centre St. No., watching fireworks around 10:30 p.m. when they heard the sound of glass breaking.

They discovered a hole in the front windshield of their car with a bullet in the front driver seat.

Police are appealing to the public in locating any surveillance video or witnesses who were in that area who may have captured the shooting incident or have information that could assist with this investigation.

It is believed that the suspect fired the shot from a distance away. This is not believed to have been a targeted incident and no injuries were sustained.
