Bullet casings found on Pickering waterfront

Several bullet casings have been discovered at the Pickering waterfront, prompting a police investigation.
A pedestrian found the shells shortly before 10 a.m. on Feb. 4 on the Waterfront Trail between Frisco Rd. and Montgomery Park Rd. The area is a secluded walking path just west of Duffins Creek.
Several uniformed officers and members of the Tactical Unit responded to the scene for victims or further evidence. However, no one was found with any injuries. Investigators discovered about 10 casings in the area.
