More than 21,000 fair lovers thronged the grounds of the Brooklin Spring Fair this year to experience everything from a demolition derby and livestock displays and competitions to the ever-popular midway.

“The year long planning process of 25 dedicated volunteer board members was a huge success,” enthused Brooklin Fair President Nicole Scott. “Our packed schedule of track event, agriculture events and displays, music, comedy, midway, parade and more made for a full weekend with something for everyone.”

Highlights of this year’s fair, which has been a mainstay in Brooklin since 1911, included the RAM Rodeo Tour competition, the creative corner, the Truck and Tractor Pull, carriage racing, a youth talent competition, agriculture shows and competitions (from draft horses and dairy cattle to rabbits), pie-eating contests, spelling bees and music from such bands as The Doozies and Two For the Show.

“The board is already talking about improvements and ideas for 2024,” Scott added, “and we have started the countdown to welcome you all back in June next year.”
