UPDATE: Traffic flows again after Mississauga intersection celebration

A celebration that overflowed onto the street was the reason people were blocking a Mississauga intersection earlier today.

Police would not confirm, but several sources say the crowd spilled out on the street from an Eid celebration at a nearby mosque in the Eglinton Ave and Ridgeway Dr. area.

The crowd has since dispersed and traffic is again flowing freely through the area.
