A brand new festival is coming to a popular tourist destination in Ontario later this month.
The Town of Wasaga Beach will be hosting the inaugural BeachLife Festival and Midway from July 23 to 26 at beach areas one and two.
“The festival will feature six free beachfront concerts and family programming, alongside the return of the annual midway, licensed beer gardens, food vendors and activities throughout the weekend,” the Town said in a press release.
Admission to the festival and all concerts is free, with rides, food, drinks, and certain activities available for purchase.
The release said programming includes:
Friday, July 24 — on the OLG Stage:
- Gold Dust Woman: The Stevie Nicks Experience — 6:00 p.m.
- Jukebox Heroes performing the music of Foreigner — 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 25 — on the OLG Stage:
- Just Heart, celebrating the music of the Canadian-American rock legends Heart — 6:00 p.m.
- The Carpet Frogs, the official touring band of The Guess Who — 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 – on the beach area two stage:
- Local performances — 1:30-3:30 p.m.
The midway will have rides, games, and attractions.
The festival will also feature professional sand sculptures, a beach soccer tournament, illuminated kites above the shoreline after sunset, and other activities.
“As day turns to evening, the festival comes alive with glowing midway lights, live music and spectacular sunsets over Georgian Bay, creating a uniquely Wasaga Beach weekend from sunrise to well after dark,” the Town said.
“BeachLife Festival is one of several major additions to Wasaga Beach’s Summer 2026 lineup, which features more than 80 live music performances and expanded weekly entertainment programming.”
