Brampton-born television and screen star Michael Cera has secretly been a dad for six months…and you can thank Amy Schumer for letting the secret slip.

The Arrested Development and Superbad actor, 33, finally came clean about the birth of his son during a segment on Entertainment Tonight when he and Schumer were being interviewed about their new series Life & Beth.

“Michael has a baby, too,” blurted out the comedian. “Is that public knowledge? I just out him. I just out his baby!”

Cera has since come clean saying his wife Nadine gave birth to a boy six months ago.

Known for being a private person, Cera has even never publicly acknowledged his marriage with superfans sleuthing out the truth when he was seen wearing a wedding a ring.

Born in raised in Brampton, Cera attended Conestoga Public School, Robert H. Lagerquist Senior Public School, and Heart Lake Secondary School before finishing off his education through online courses once his acting career took off.

Aside from his acclaimed stints on Arrested Development and his role in Superbad, Cera has also appeared in Juno, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Scott Pilgrim vs the World and the Simpsons.

Life & Beth premiers on the streaming service Hulu on March 18.
