Brampton’s Brand New Waterpark Set to Hire 400 People

Wet’N’Wild Toronto, which is set to take over the defunct Wild Water Kingdom this year, recently announced that it expects to hire 400 new employees in the lead-up to the opening of its brand new facility.

“Wet’n’Wild Toronto is excited to grow and happy to contribute to the GTA’s economy” said General Manager, Steve Mayer. “We’re looking for a diverse group of individuals, who can deliver a fantastic and guest-focused experience that the Wet’n’Wild brand is known for.”

People looking for seasonal jobs will be happy to hear that the park is looking for applicants to fill a ton of positions, most of which are perfect for residents looking for summer work.

The company is accepting applications for lifeguards, cashiers, ticket booth attendants, food and beverage staff, line cooks, park services, cabana attendants, birthday hosts and hostesses, dancers and entertainers, mascots, bartenders, receptionists and water park attendants.

Applicants must be flexible between May through September 2017.

“We’re looking for candidates who are goal-oriented, enjoy working in a busy environment and have a lot of positive, fun energy” said Mayer. “Interested applicants are encouraged to let their personalities shine at one of our upcoming job fairs.”
