In the spirit of the season of giving, Bramalea City Centre (BCC) plans to donate money made from its Santa Claus photos to a youth organization in Peel.

On Thursday morning, the mall will present a cheque for $10,000 to BGC Peel, a non-profit group that aims to support children and youth in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon.

Santa photos at BCC are a yearly tradition, and in 2022 the mall pledged to donate a portion of the photo sales to BGC Peel.

The mall says it’s just another step in the long-standing relationship between BCC and BGC Peel, and says they will continue to work together on events and charity opportunities in the future.

This donation will go into local Bramalea/Brampton program and services, ensuring that families in the Knightsbridge and surrounding areas continue to have access to resources they require,” said Michael J. Gyovai, Executive Director at BGC Peel.

Established in 1983, BGC Peel runs a variety of programs to engage children, youth and families across Peel, including those seen as at-risk and those from low-income communities.
